The present expertise
study on the product Placen formula hp botanica/SpringfIower
Lotion for hair and scalp is basing on the fact
that in the case of loss of hair, of Alopecia
Aerata (loss of hair in circular fonn), of hair
with a weak structure, of hair the structure
of which has been damaged already, etc., the
best results are to be obtained with Placenta
extracts.
In short, we will explain the following points
:
1. - How and in which way the Placenta extracts
are working
2. - Our challenge to get the characteristics
and properties of the Placenta extracts not
from animal Placentas but from vegetable extracts
(= eXtracts from plants)
3. - What kind oIproblems we had,
and what kind of solutions we have found
4. - The results we have obtained.
1 How and in which
way the Placenta extracts are working
Our experience from many years ago in the tricological
field has demonstrated that the best results
are to be expected with the Placenta extracts
if these are being applied topically on the
scalp and on the hair.
The presence of an extract of the Placenta has
the effect that a sudden increase of the metabolic
processes is to be discovered, processes that
are occurring on resp. in the skin and in its
adnexa; and this increase is lasting over a
longer period of time.
From the point of view ofbio-chemical aspects,
an intensive activity of enzyms is to be noticed
which is involving - as a result and consequence
- an up to 50 % increased consumption of oxygen.
Inthescope of a tricological activity. the Placenta
extracts are acting like a bio-stimulant, that
is to say that by this they stimulate the trophic
and oxygen-intaking activity of the hair follicle.
At the area of the hair bulbus (- the root of
the hair), the supply resp. the provision of
oxygen to the blood is being improved, and by
this, a more adequate nutrition of the hair
is guaranteed.
The macroscopic effects of this influence have
a close relation as far as the structure of
the hair is concerned.
The keratin reaches its condition of maturity,
and it builds the sulphur bridge betWeen the
various and different sulphureous amino acids;
and by this, the typical and compact structure
of the hair's scaffolding proteins is being
made up.
The Placenta extracts contain - among others
- proteins, enzyms, vitamines) amino acids,
the effectiveness of which has been confirmed
by numerous dennal-cosrnetological tests. These
agents (active substances) are becoming active
especially at these spots and in these areas
where'the tissue has shown signs of malfunction,
and this is to say for example due to malnutrition,
due to hormonal defects or due to other reasons.
Therefore, these extracts have a homoeo-therapeutical
effect, and they correct these symptoms which
influence in a negative way the structure and
the function of hair.
The mode and mechanism of operation of these
extracts is clearly of a physiological natUre.
However, and regarding the hair stimulating
activity, the normalising and regulating effect
that is being exercised by the Placenta extracts
onto the sebaceous gland, is of similar importance.
On the basis of this activity, the gland that
is being located inside the hair follicle, with
which intensive functional relations exist)
supplys exactly the correct amount of sebum
that makes.Eesp. keeps the hair shiny and smooth,
and this is done without all these excessive
phenomena which on the one hand have a negative
effect on the beauty of the hair, and which
on the other hand impede the breathing resp.
respiration of the hair's bulbus, on as a consequence
thereof, the hair gets weakened and the loss
of hair (Seborrhoea capitis) is being favoured.
2. - Our challenge
to get the characteristics (properties) of the
Placenta extracts not from animal Placentas
but from vegetable extracts (= extracts from
plants)

extracts (= extracts from plants) (active principles)
which are able to restore the bio-dynamic activity
of the Placenta.
Just like the Placenta contains all the bio-dynamic
elements which stimulate the metabolic activity
of the cell (enzymes, vitarnines, mineral nutrients
and proteins), placen fonnula hp botanica /
Springflower Lotion for hair and scalp does
also contain in the same way a very concentrated
complex of vegetable (= plant) origin.
Placen formula hp botanic a / Springflower Lotion
for hair and scalp is the result of botanical
studies on the life and the behaviour of the
green wheat. As known, green wheat is behaving
- from the biological point of view - in a very
particular way. Although this plant is thriving
and growing in dirty and polluted, as well as
in little agreeable environments, it is -not
only -not subj ect to any genetical mutation,
but it even becomes to be an authentic phenomenon
of growth and strength when it reaches its anabolic
phase that is taking place two weeks after its
germination. Asthonishingly, the wheat triplicates
its size in height within only a few days. How
is this to be explained?
The answer is to be found in its genetic make-up
which makes such a performance possible for
this plant.
In resp. during its highest vegetative activity,
the wheat is provided with an enzyme - "SOD"
(Super-Oxo-Dismutase) - that is giving it a
good and powerful protection against free radicals
and against oxydations which are causing that
vital phenomena of regression.
Thanks to this enzyme, the wheat is in the position
to remain genetically unmutated, even when it
is exposed to very unfavourable conditions of
the environment. -. These exceptional and unusual
characteristics/properties of the wheat let
us begin to dream.
3. - What kind
of problems we had, and what kind of solutions
we have found
How could it be possible to get hold of this
fantastic vitality and to use it in the field
of cosmetics in order to treat the degeneration
of the scalp and of the hair resp. to take precautions
against such degeneration?
How could one exhaust the properties of the
green wheat in order to take preventive measures
against the aging of the scalp?
It has not been an easy job to make use of these
characteristics/properties, and this just because
of the fact that it is difficult to isolate
the positive and favourable properties of the
SOD enzyme.
However, we succeeded to"do this in our
laboratory for investigation by having decided
for a so-called cold extraction procedure.
And this is to say, we pressed the green wheat,
and then we stabilized the extracts by using
a controlled temperature procedure, and this
means, the wheat was treated without the help
of any other media or material, hence without
putting any influence or effects whatsoever
on its characteristics/properties.
But and however, we have not yet been satisfied
with this. We knew that just the extracts of
the green wheat alone could reach a lot but
not everything of what we wanted.
Therefore, we added to the Placen fonnula hp
botanica / Springflower Lotion for hair and
scalp the metabolic agents (resp. mediators)
which are necessary for the activity of the
SOD. Among these, we added the mineral nutrients
(as there are copper, zinc, and manganese) which
make the restoration of the biological functions
of the scalp and of the hair possible.
These mineral nutrients have been obtained and
extracted from the wheat itself, but also !Tom
other plants like the Ceratonia Siliqua and
the capsicum.
Other plants helped and supported us to let
another wonder become true :
VIe obtained resp. eX1racted fito hormones:
substances from the hop and from the ginseng
plants which stimulate thehormonal characteristics
and properties of . , the Placenta.
These fito hormones are bio-dynamicstimulants
which spur the simple and indiscriminated cells
of the skin and of the follicle of the hair,
this is to say the fibroblasts, on.
The fibroblasts - cells which getting developed
in new cells of the skin and which themselves
develop new hair then -, are stimulated by these
fito honnones, and the scalp acting as a barrier,
will be stimulated anew, the existing hair becomes
stronger, and the growing of new hair is supported.
As a third element and component for the hair
we would now need the vitamines.
We knew that the green wheat was rich and abundant
in vitamines of group B (tiamin, biotin, pirossidin,
panthotetin).
But and however, and under all circumstances,
we also wanted to have the lipophilic vitamines
(vitamine A and vitamine E) which are indispensable
for the life and for the good function of the
cells of the scalp and of the hair. And for
this purpose, we decided for lipo-proteic complexes
that we obtained and extracted from corn and
trom rye.
Thanks to these vitamines and to the amino acidulous
fractions that are rich in triptophane, the
hair becomes stronger, finner and shinier.
Existing of all these natural elements and components,
we made our Placen formula hp botanica / Springflower
Lotion for hair and scalp: a source of life
for hair, exactly like the extracts from the
Placenta, but more natural, on a vegetable basis
( on a basis of plants), safer and more unique.
4. - The results
we have obtained.
Due to the aforementioned positive characteristic
features and symptoms which are to be attributed
to one single effect, and this is to say to
